On this page, you will find all the terms and conditions for all bookings from November 1st to December 24th 2023.

Thank you for booking the private room at Drop Wine Amersham. To make sure your event is as successful as possible the below Terms and Conditions will apply to your booking. Please read through these and let me know if you have any questions.

DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS

To confirm a booking I require a deposit of £400. This secures the booking and is redeemable against your bill on the day of your event. Deposits can be paid by phone with a credit or debit card, or in person at the venue. £400 is the required minimum spend for your booking.

Booking Confirmation

Bookings will not be considered confirmed until a full deposit is received. A deposit will be required 3 weeks prior to the booking date. Bookings can be held provisionally prior to this date at the venue’s discretion, and you may be asked to release or confirm a booking at any time if we have other customers ready to confirm.

Minimum Spend

Your booking will be subject to a minimum spend requirement of £400 this is regardless of the final number in attendance. There are no room hire charges.

The minimum spend will include all food and drink consumption for your group. I will run an itemised tab on the night to track consumption. I will stay in contact with the host throughout the night and as minimum spend is reached will discuss any necessary extensions with plenty of notice.

If a minimum spend is not met on the day of your event, you will be required to either forfeit the remainder of the deposit or given the option to use the remainder to buy wine to take away.

Cancellation

Sometimes things don’t always go to plan and if you do need to cancel your booking, I would appreciate it if you let me know as soon as possible. If you have paid a deposit, this will not be refundable if the cancellation is made less than 7 days prior to your booking. Cancellations with more than one weeks notice or If I am unable to host your booking due to government guidance (ie: covid restrictions) or any other force majeure I will refund your deposit in full.

PRE-ORDERS & MENU CHOICES

As Christmas is a very busy time, I will need a full pre-order for all food bookings at least a week before your booking. If you have made your booking less than 3 working days before the booking date, or if you have not submitted a pre-order within the time frames set out, I am unable to guarantee your menu choices, but will always do my best to accommodate them.

Please let us know of any dietary requirements or allergies when you submit your food order so we can plan accordingly. If you need information on allergens, please ask and we will be happy to provide this information.

Wine

I also recommend that you pre-order your wines for your booking to save time on the day, and to guarantee quantities are available. Please make your choices and quantities from the menu attached.

All other wines from the shop are available to purchase but may be of limited quantities.

These can be decided upon on the night but where possible it will be best if you pop in beforehand and I can discuss with you any specific wines to suit any budget.

Please note I am a fine wine venue and as such I carry only one lager and no soft drinks.

A non alcoholic beer and sparkling wine will be available.

SERVICE CHARGE

Please note that there is no service charge added to your bill If you would like to show your appreciation for good service all cash tips are given to the staff
